Get the installer from the owner portal
Open Cadivari downloads and sign in to the owner portal with your purchaser email and licence key. Download the Windows setup installer for an eligible release. Official Cadivari Windows installers are digitally signed by SCHNEIDER DESIGN.
02 · WINDOWS SMARTSCREEN
If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”
During Cadivari's early releases, Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may describe the installer as an unrecognized app. Digital signing identifies the publisher; SmartScreen also checks the reputation of the particular download. A new signed release can still show this prompt.
For an installer you downloaded from the Cadivari owner portal:
- Choose More info (Mer info).
- Check that Publisher (Utgiver) includes SCHNEIDER DESIGN. Windows may also show the organisation's location and country.
- If the publisher matches, choose Run anyway (Kjør likevel) to start the installer.
If the publisher is unknown or different, stop and contact Cadivari support. These steps apply to the unrecognized-app prompt for the official installer. Keep Microsoft Defender and SmartScreen enabled.

03 · OTHER WARNINGS
If your browser blocks the file or a threat is reported
A browser warning that a file is dangerous, a named malware detection, or an invalid signature needs a separate check. Do not use the SmartScreen steps above to bypass those warnings. Contact support with the installer filename, version, download source, and the exact warning or a screenshot so we can check the file.
04 · ACTIVATE
Activate this computer
Finish installation, open Cadivari, and enter the purchaser email and licence key from your receipt. The first activation needs an internet connection. Once activated, core CAD, CAM, saving, and export work offline. If you are updating an existing installation, your activation should remain in place.
Cadivari 0.3.0
Version 0.3.0 adds solid-model CAM, selected-face machining, roughing, ball-nose finishing and remaining-stock comparison. Use Updates in the app or the owner portal for eligible signed installers. Read the 0.3.0 release notes. Keep a copy of projects if you also need to use an older app version.
