What Cadivari does

Drawing modelling and machining preparation

Use Cadivari to design parts such as templates, signs, fixtures and instrument components. Work with 2D profiles or solid models, then prepare the toolpaths for machining.

2D drawing

Draw and measure lines, arcs, splines and closed profiles in millimetres. Use reference images, mirror geometry and combine or subtract shapes.

3D modelling

Build solids from sketches with Push/Pull, Loft and Revolve. Add shells, chamfers and rounded edges, then edit the feature settings.

View features

CNC toolpaths

Create contours, pockets, model roughing and surface finishing paths. Assign cutters and set cut depths, feeds and operation order.

View features

Engraving and V-carving

Import SVG artwork for engraving. Follow drawn lines, cut V-grooves or use variable-depth V-carving for filled shapes.

How it works

From drawing to exported G-code

Create machining operations from 2D profiles or 3D bodies. Review the job in Cadivari, then open the exported program in your machine controller software.

01

Draw or import

Draw a profile, import SVG artwork or trace a reference image.

02

Build a model

For a 3D part, create solids from sketches on planes or faces.

03

Set up machining

Choose stock, work zero and cutters, then add and order operations.

04

Preview and export

Review toolpaths and material removal, then export G-code for your machine controller.

3D modelling

Create solids from sketches

Start a sketch on a construction plane or flat face. Build a solid from its profiles, then edit the sketch dimensions or feature settings as the design changes.

Set up and preview CNC operations

Set the stock dimensions, work zero and cutting parameters for each job. Review the operation order, cutter motion and material removal before exporting.

Contours pockets and surface machining

Cut outlines and pockets, face stock, rough a model and finish curved surfaces. Set the cutter, depth passes and feeds for each operation.

Motion and material preview

Play or scrub through cutter travel, entries and tool changes. Use the material preview to inspect the simulated result.

G-code export

Export a combined program for Carbide Motion or separate files for each cutter stage in a GRBL workflow.

Design rosettes and fretboards

Cadivari includes rosette and fretboard designers. Use them to lay out decorative bands, calculate fret positions and prepare geometry for machining.

Rosette designer

Arrange mosaic and veneer bands, set their dimensions and create channel profiles.

Fretboard designer

Set scale length, fret positions and board dimensions. Create surfaces, outlines and fret-slot toolpaths.

Files and licensing

Local files and a perpetual licence

Save projects on your computer and work offline. A new licence includes one year of updates. The versions covered by your licence continue to work after that year ends.
